DBH Investment to launch HUF 5 bln venture capital fund
DBH Investment Venture Capital Fund Manager will start a HUF 5 billion fund from January, with HUF 3.5 billion in grants from the EU′s Jeremie program and a further HUF 1.5 billion of its own capital, CEO Sándor Erdei said on Wednesday.
DBH Investment was announced as one of eight fund managers picked to manage some HUF 45 billion in monies as part of the New Hungary Venture Capital Program by the National Development and Economy Ministry earlier in October.
DBH Investment will invest an average HUF 200 million - HUF 250 million in innovative SMEs over the coming four years, Erdei said.
The fund belongs to DBH Group, a Dutch-Hungarian real estate, investment and business services company established in 1994. (MTI - Econews)

DBH Industrial and Innovation Park in North-Eastern Hungary
DBH Group, a Dutch-Hungarian company that offers complex business services and manages several international investment projects, is building a "serviced" innovation and industrial complex in Felsõzsolca Industrial Park, east of Miskolc. The investment will cost a total of Ft 400 million and the facility will be up and running by October this year, chief executive Sándor Erdei said. With 3,500 sqm of floor space, the site will also accommodate offices and facilitate back support for business innovation.

Hungarian-Flemish conference and business forum in Debrecen
A whole day long business forum that aimed to boost the Hungarian-Flemish business relations and to indroduce the local FDI and future possibilities, was organised on the 3rd of June in Debrecen, by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hajdú-Bihar and Enterprise Europe Network.
As an active member of the forum Zoltán Kurtán, Division Manager of DBH Project Management gave a lecture to the flemish businessmen on the issue ’ Investor-environment through the eyes of a consultant’, which presentation was followed by a podium speech about the status of the foreign investments. The closing session of the daily program was a meeting for the managers of foreign enterprises settled down in the region, - the flemish delegation visited the Bumet Hungary Ltd. as well, of which settlement in Debrecen was completely coordinated by DBH Project Management.

Brief summary of the XVIIthannual congress of European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) 2008
The XVIIth annual congress of EBN took place this first time in Central-Eastern-Europe, Budapest. The mission of the organization is to help the development of the Business and Innovation Centres and the enlargement of international relations aiming to fulfill the criteria of the EU Lisbon Treaty- within and beyond the borders as well. The 300 foreign and 100 Hungarian attendants analized together the methods of the possible cooperation and the different options of the enterprize-establishment. On the congress organized by Innostart National Business and Innovation Center Foundation, Zsolt Keresztúri, Project Manager of DBH Group also made a comprehensive report on the unique business innovation services offered by DBH. The final event of the EBN was held on the board of Európa river boat, where Dr. Sándor Erdei, CEO of DBH Group made a presentation about the business activity of the company.
